ADV.1 ENGINEERING
Engineering is a major part of ADV.1 wheel design. Each wheel style, diameter, width, lathe profile and requested offset is individually engineered in order to ensure the end user gets exactly what they want. Most companies focus on high volume, and maximum bottom line profit margins - thus eliminating the need for this type of engineering work. That's an excellent business model, however does not allow for a truly vehicle specific 3 piece or 1 piece wheel. In order to increase productivity, most companies design a wheel, create a file in a desired diameter, and the vehicle specific machining goes as far pcd, center bore and pad height. The forging profile stays the same on all vehicles, pad height determines the offset and the job is done.

We choose to design and manufacture a wheel that is completely specific to only the vehicle it's ordered for. Forging profiles are lathe turned and machined specifically to order, the center disc profile can be machined to the customers spec, wether it be deep concave, of completely flat. Some customers prefer a deeper lip, some choose minimal lip, this is all made possible through our engineering team. This process is time consuming, costly, and not very efficient - however we're enthusiasts and it's not about the bottom line profit, it's about creating a wheel that looks incredible, fits precisely, and performs like a high end forged wheel should.

We also stock 3 piece and 1 piece forgings in several different configurations in order to avoid being locked in to the limitations of 1 forging. Because of this we're capable of offering endless combinations of wheel configurations to suit the customers specific needs. In addition we're constantly developing new forging dies, and advancements / modifications to existing forgings which gives us incredible freedom in forged wheel design.
